Your information, handled like we'd want ours handled.
Two promises up front. We never sell your data. We never email you unless you asked us to. Everything else on this page is detail.
What we collect
- What you send us: your name, email, phone and whatever you write when you text, email or use a form.
- In the domain store: the email you check out with, the domains you buy, renewal dates and the last four digits of your card. The card itself lives with Stripe, our payment processor, never with us.
- What the site records: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited, time) and, if you allow them, anonymous analytics.
- Domain searches: the names people search for in the store, kept without any link to who searched, so we can see what kinds of names people want.
Why we use it
- To answer you and scope a project you asked about.
- To register, renew and host what you bought, and to remind you before a renewal.
- To run, secure and improve the website.
- To keep the records the law makes us keep.
We don't build profiles of visitors, buy lists or send cold email.
Who we share it with
Nobody buys it. We share information only with the services that help us run the business, and only what they need: our hosting and DNS provider (Cloudflare), our domain registry partner (Openprovider), our payment processor (Stripe), our email provider, and our accountant for invoices. If the law requires us to disclose something, we will, and we'll tell you if we're allowed to.
Cookies
Necessary cookies keep the site working. Analytics, preference and marketing cookies run only if you turn them on, and you can change your mind any time with . The cookie policy lists every one.
How long we keep it
Messages and project notes for as long as we work together and a reasonable time after. Domain and billing records for as long as the domain is with us plus what tax law requires. Server logs for 30 days. Analytics, if you allowed them, up to 26 months.
Your choices
Ask us what we have about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Text (502) 794-7447 or email iwish@webwishery.com and we'll handle it within 30 days. Your domain is yours: the transfer code is in your account any time, no fee to leave.
